Commander visits Israel

U.S. European Command Commander General (****) Curtis M. Scaparrotti met Israeli Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen Gadi Eizenkot at the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv this morning. He then traveled to Jerusalem and met Israeli President Reuven Rivlin at the President’s Residence. Later in the day, General Scaparrotti was given a guided tour of Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum, and laid a wreath at the Hall of Remembrance in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
