Saber Junction 20 enhances unit readiness in JMRC’s realistic, complex training environment

Exercise Saber Junction 20 finished as the 173rd Airborne Brigade, 12th Combat Aviation Bde., and multinational allies and partners executed the final battle, Aug. 22-23, at Hohenfels Training Area, Germany.
Saber Junction 20 kicks off at Hohenfels Training Area

Saber Junction 20 kicked off as helicopters from the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit transported 173rd Airborne Brigade Soldiers for an infiltration assault into the Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, Aug. 10.
U.S. Army Paratroopers assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade plan during exercise Swift Response 17 in Hohenfels, Germany. Swift Response is an annual U.S. Army Europe led exercise focused on allied airborne forces’ ability to quickly and effectively respond to crisis situations as an interoperable multi-national team.
