STUTTGART, Germany - On Sept. 8, 2017 the Joint Intelligence Operations Center Europe (JIOCEUR) Analytic Center (JAC) will commemorate its 25th anniversary with an official ceremony at Royal Air Force (RAF) Molesworth in the United Kingdom.
The U.S. European Command intelligence community, along with former JAC Commanders and senior enlisted leaders, will mark this occasion one month after JIOCEUR's official anniversary, Aug. 5.
"The JAC has reinvented itself to respond to a changing security environment," said Air Force Col. Parker H. Wright, JAC Commander. "We provide 24-7 battle-space awareness of threats to the theater, and we stand postured and ready to respond in times of crisis and conflict."
Collaboration has been the norm at the JAC, delivering analysis in concert with all the components, across combatant commands, throughout the Intelligence Community, and with our Allies and partners.
"The JAC has a strategic effect beyond the EUCOM mission area. It has provided decades of support to NATO out-of-area operations and resources towards the stand-up of the NATO Intel Fusion Center," said Brig. Gen. Potter, EUCOM's Director of Intelligence. "I'm extremely proud of their efforts."
