Additional assets arrive in support of recovery efforts in Lithuania

In the last 24 hours, U.S. Army and Lithuanian authorities brought in additional assets to assist with the ongoing recovery efforts of four missing U.S. Army Soldiers and a M88 Hercules from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.

Bomber Task Force missions like FORTRESS HAIL demonstrate the ability to integrate seamlessly with mission partners, strengthening readiness and lethality.
Maj. Gen. Pete Andrysiak, U.S. European Command chief of staff, discusses Command and Control (C2) modernization and capabilities during a three-day C2 Summit at Patch Barracks Feb. 12. Participants from across U.S. European Command, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, various Department of Defense agencies and industry leaders met at the three-day event to have an open dialog on current C2 challenges and opportunities.
U.S. European Command at Patch Barracks recently held a three-day Command and Control (C2) Summit designed to build a shared understanding of C2 innovation and transformation efforts among a broad group of stakeholders.

Members of the U.S.-Poland Joint Commission, including EUCOM Director for Plans, Policy, and Strategy, U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Russel Driggers and Poland’s Director for the International Security Policy Department, Piotr Pacholski, met at Poland’s Ministry of National Defense in Warsaw. The Joint Commission met to discuss various topics related to implementing the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement.
