"U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will conduct the bilateral exercise Juniper Falcon 2019 Feb 7-14. The exercise is designed to enhance our interoperability between both nations' militaries and ensure our men and women are ready and prepared for any contingency, particularly those of ballistic missile defense and crisis response.

Juniper Falcon, in keeping with the long-standing strategic partnership, is planned well in advance as part of a routine training cycle designed to improve cooperation. The exercise has been in planning since early 2018 and is not tied to any real world events."
