Latest Atlantic Resolve armored rotation begins arriving this week

Beginning this week, the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, from Fort Hood, Texas, arrives in Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve.
There is simply no substitute for the U.S. forward presence in Europe. It is the bedrock of NATO's ability to assure partner nations, respond to threats as required and ensure support to global operations. 2021 Aviation Detachment Rotation near Powidz, Poland is no exception. U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) leaders, strategists, planners and operators joined forces with their NATO counterparts in exercise Austere Challenge 2021 (AC21) to practice a coordinated response to a fictional major crisis this week.

U.S. B-52s Cross Atlantic for BTF Mission Supporting NATO

Two U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bombers departed the United States Wednesday to participate in a NATO hosted exercise over the North Sea. The flight was a demonstration of U.S. support to NATO Allies and partners and continued validation of a shared commitment to global security and stability.
