NATO Allied Special Operations Forces Command evaluation team certified Colombian special forces on July 9, 2024 during the United States-Colombia exercise Fused Response, utilizing the NATO Special Operations Forces planning process and tactics, techniques, and procedures. The F-16 Fight Falcons were welcomed in a ceremony attended by senior civilian and military leaders from Slovakia and U.S. Embassy Bratislava, ushering a new era in Slovakia's ability to patrol its skies and support collective deterrence and defense in Europe.
