52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Alberto Silva assigned to the 9th Expeditionary Bomber Squadron refuels a B-1B Lancer aircraft employing the new Versatile Integrating Partner Equipment Refueling (VIPER) kit on Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, Oct. 11, 2021. The VIPER kit system, an Agile Combat Employment capability, enables the bombers’ ability to land and operate from austere airfields at any forward staging location.
