86th Airlift Wing/Public Affairs

Jeffery Rueben, center, 52nd Operational Medical Readiness Squadron physician assistant, provide medical check-ups for evacuees at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 31, 2021. Ramstein provides safe, temporary lodging for evacuees from Afghanistan as part of Operation Allies Refuge during the next several weeks. Medical technicians on base provide medicine and assistance for injuries or illnesses while evacuees with more serious concerns are transported to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center for treatment.
