U.S. Army and Air Force service members assisted USAID with the transportation of nearly 12,000 pounds of medical kits from the Netherlands, through Germany and on to Lebanon. These kits contain items such as medicines, bandages, gauze, examination gloves, thermometers and syringes. The International Emergency Medical Kits are designed to enable local hospitals address the critical medical needs of the victims of the recent explosion and COVID-19. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
