D-Day 2019

Submerged in rain, Brig. Gen John Stephens, Regional Health Command, US Army Europe, delivers a speech for the memorial ceremony commemorated to the first advanced headquarters of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force ,SHAEF, and Dwight D. Eisenhower in Tournieres, France on June 7. More than 1,300 U.S. Service Members, partnered with with 950 troops from across Europe and Canada have converged in northwestern France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the WWII Allied Invasion of Normandy, commonly known as D-day.
