D-Day 2019

A World War II veteran, and members of our nations “Greatest Generation”, rejoices in the crowd at the 75th D-Day Anniversary ceremony at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, France, June 6, 2019. More than 1,300 U.S. Service Members, partnered with 950 troops from across Europe and Canada, have converged in northwestern France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the WWII Allied Invasion of Normandy, commonly known as D-Day.
