Afghanistan Evacuation Support

U.S. European Command joined forces with the U.S. State Department and several combatant commands to provide urgent, lifesaving assistance to qualified evacuees, including U.S. and European citizens and Afghans who supported America and its NATO Allies during the 20-year Afghanistan war.

Demonstrating its ability to rapidly plan complex operations and coordinate with a full spectrum of U.S. and foreign agencies and host nations, while deploying assets to respond to any contingency operation, USEUCOM and its subordinate commands successfully responded to the urgent call to support one of the largest, most complex humanitarian airlift operations in history.
