Atlantic Ocean — A plane director positions a F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the “Rampagers” of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Three (VFA-83), onto catapult two prior to launch from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Eisenhower is on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO) and the global war on terrorism and will enter the Mediterranean Sea in Mid-October.
