TEMA, Ghana — Ghanaian military medical personnel practice advanced emergency evacuation aboard USS Elrod (FFG 55) during Medflag ’06, a multinational medical training exercise. The shipboard portion of Medflag '06, that took place Oct. 4-5, 2006, is part of a U.S. European Command-directed multinational medical training exercise designed to strengthen partnerships and improve medical skills in African partner nations.
