EPINAL, France — Kefurt Village on Patch Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany is named for Army Staff Sgt. Gus J. Kefurt, 15th Infantry, 3d Infantry Division.  He was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for valor on 23-24 December 1944 in the Vosges region of eastern France.
