During the exercise, participating staffs and units from Germany, Greece,Italy, Spain, Turkey and the U.S. trained in mine countermeasure and worked together to enhance the cooperation level and improve mutual training and interoperability among participating units. Conducting training engagements in foreign waters expands each country's mine countermeasure capabilities by presenting unique environmental and geographic areas in which to operate.
