Handing over 10 electrical generators to Slovenian authorities
At a transfer ceremony today in Postojna, Slovenia, Charge d’Affaires David Burger handed over 10 electrical generators to Slovenian authorities. The generators were brought to Slovenia by the U.S. military based in Vicenza, Italy. This donation aims to provide electricity to those parts of Slovenia severely damaged by the recent ice storm. At the ceremony, all parties stressed the very good partnership between Slovenia and the United States, and especially the excellent military cooperation between the two countries.
