Military doctor trains with Georgian Armed Forces
In collaboration with United States European Command and the United States Embassy, Tbilisi , Georgia, Major (Doctor) Joel Foster, licensed psychologist, recently participated in a two-week training course for mental health providers in the Georgian Ministry of Defence Psychological Recruitment and Monitoring Department.

In collaboration with United States European Command and the United States Embassy, Tbilisi , Georgia, Major (Doctor) Joel Foster, licensed psychologist,  recently participated in a two-week training course for mental health providers in the Georgian Ministry of Defence Psychological Recruitment and Monitoring Department.

In order to increase multi-national collaboration and bolster the delivery of mental health care to the Georgian Armed Forces, Dr. Foster is conducting training on the topics of mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress, Combat and Operational Stress, Psychological First Aid, and Resiliency. This represents an important step in a continuing relationship between United States European Command and the Georgian Ministry of Defence and strengthens our strategic partnership by providing the highest quality mental health care to Georgian Wounded Warriors.
