Security Assistance Programs and Offices of Defense Cooperation

The U.S. European Command is committed to enhancing mutual relations between the U.S. armed forces and the armed forces of nations within our area of responsibility. To facilitate those relations, five nations have assigned liaison officers to the command staff. These liaison officers contribute to the coordination of mutual cooperation and facilitate the flow of information between the U.S. European Command and the defense ministries and affected military commands of their respective nations.
