The mission of the program is to incorporate the U.S. National Plan of Action on Women, Peace, and Security into EUCOM's Plan, Policies, Initiatives, Operations, Exercises, and Security Cooperation events in the AOR.

The goal of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security is to empower half the world's population as equal partners in preventing conflict and building peace in countries threatened and affected by war, violence, and insecurity. Achieving this goal is critical to American national and global security.
